Woman Entrepreneur Empowerment: Reader's Q & A How do I get started? List building, blogging, branding











As a woman entrepreneur or one who aspires to be there are many things
to consider. One of the most popular questions amongst the women surveyed
includes: How do I get started? I have a lot of ideas. Do I brand first,
start blogging, build a list?

One of the first things you want to discover is who you serve. Many call
this your niche. It doesn't do any good to try to start blogging or
building your list without knowing who you're speaking to.

1) They won't recognize you as the solution to their problem.

2) You'll waste a lot of time and effort.

Once you do a few basic things including identifying who your serve,
you want to start building your list/community.

The people on your list are your target customers. You must convert them into a base that looks forward to what you want to tell them.

You yourself must be easily reachable. When you do this, people slowly begin to have faith in you. When you communicate with your contacts, you must sound approachable and friendly rather than seriously formal.


Before you actually begin experimenting with different methods of building your list,let's talk about the basic things you need.


A Website

The first thing you must set up is your website, so that your contacts have a place to come to and find you. They also need a place where they can securely leave their email and name. You must ensure that they do not have any difficulty in the process. Not only that, you want to give them something of value to remember. Your website is practically your main point of contact with your users. So make sure you build a site that is good to look at. That does not mean graphics rich and jazzy, but something that is designed to be professional and effective.

I'll share a quick and easy way for you to create your first website during

Your site must provide crisp content. Write it in such a way that it draws their attention – like a magnetic headline, bulleted points, etc. On top of everything else, it should endorse your own image.

Do it in a way that is unique and memorable for your visitor. They are only going to be there for seconds before they move on to browse elsewhere. It must have something special for your prospect to remember and come back. The number of sites on the internet is growing rapidly and it is up to you to make yours look special.


A point to bear in mind here is that even after you’ve drawn the visitor to your site, there is no fixed rule that says they must purchase from you the first time they go by your site. Which means we must make sure there is a way for them to leave their name and email address. The page that you need is called a squeeze or opt-in page. You then must be able to persuade them to subscribe and there are ways to do this.

Autoresponder

The next thing is your autoresponder. Subscribe to one that suits your needs best. These are a wonderful way to automate your follow up, when you have to keep in touch with your customers regularly. You might find it easy to keep in touch with, 100 people, but when the list runs to thousands, just imagine the amount of time you’ll spend, time that you can devote to more creative activities. Instead, a good Auto responder can help you tremendously in keeping up with your reminding and emailing.

You must remember that it is not just for size that you are growing your list. Why you are doing it is so you can convert it into business. You can start with a strong small list and build it as you go along.

Of course you'll need to know how to bring traffic to your site. I'll share more

You have goals and hopefully have clarity of vision and purpose.
Why isn't it working?
Why does it seem like the harder I work the more fatigued and
unproductive I feel.

As in our human body there are certain things that are considered
necessary ingredients and essential keys to a healthy business.
Quite frankly if you're not providing these things your business
is experiencing malnutrition.

We all have seen the sad pictures of children and how they look
when they are suffering severe malnutrition. They cannot function
properly, I can imagine that they are not very focused or have
much energy.

You are not doing your business any justice if you are the CEO and
you are, once you make the decision to start your business you must
change your mindset from that of an employee to the CEO the leader
of your business. The CEO has the authority to make decisions.

Here are some other qualities of a CEO mindset


Takes risks. A CEO mindset is that of taking risks.
Courage and Faith – The Woman CEO mindset is that of courage and Faith. She has
Made the necessary adjustments to operate with courage and faith.
Knows what her ideal client’s needs are and goes about to develop solutions for
Their problems and pain.
Knows her ideal client, where they hang out , what they like
Authentic – Operates from a place of authenticity and works to make sure
That her services, programs and products are not filled with hype.
Has tapped into her uniqueness and brilliance and is confident in who she is.

These are just a few and another she Is passionate about what she does.

Woman entrepreneur tips: They won't know unless you show: Tips for increasing your online visibility

You have a great blog, product, service but there's one problem…
know one knows it or very few do if any.

As a savvy woman entrepreneur it's important that you have a visibility
plan. Why? Because they won't know unless you show. What?
They simply won't know anything about your great product, service
or program and unless you show it to them and one of the best ways is to increase
your online visibility.

I'm going to share three ways you can do this.

1) Post to blogs and forums
This is one of the easiest ways to increase your visibility. The key here
is to frequent forums and blogs that reach your audience. Don't
simply post great information, however, this is your time to shine.
Add to the content given by posting a comment that shows your
expertise. Don't overdue just a simple response. Some allow
you to leave your signature and others have it built in where it
will post your last blog post title and/or hyperlink your website.
Of course having your own blog will increase your visibility and
again you want the right visibility. Identifying and using your
best key words in your blog title and posts are key here.

2) Get Social. Social media is a great resource when you know
how to use it. It's not a coincidence that the word social is included
in Social Media. This is where many miss it. Instead of interacting
with their followers (twitter) or friends (facebook) they simply post
link and link and this is not good. This is gaining you the wrong
type of visibility.

3) Design your own newsletter/ezine
This is one of the easiest ways to not only gain visuality but is also
a great way to build your list/community. It's not as hard
as you may think it is. If you want additional information

Woman entrepreneur tips: Business empowerment through Article marketing

To some the thought of article marketing may be overwhelming and this
is the reason so many put it aside. This is the best approach to take
as a woman entrepreneur who desires empowerment in business.

There's lots of information on the internet and many ideas on how you
should proceed. One thing that will help you as you proceed with your
endeavors in this area is to avoid the overwhelm by easing into it.

Arm yourself with the knowledge necessary to get started on the right foot, however, you don't want to take too long to get started. There are several things that you need to make sure you know before you begin creating your first article.

Who is your target market?
What is your niche?
What is their problem or pain?
You must write a good headline incorporating key words from your key word search.
Include a good resource box.
Begin submitting to good article directories.

People are always looking for good content and they might just pick
up your article which is the beginning of creating a viral effect.

The above are just a few things to keep in mind.
You can use them as a guide to help you get started if you're a

Woman entrepreneur empowerment: 4 tips for effectively using social media to drive traffic to your sites




Social media and Web 2.0 have been here for some time now. Experts predict that this trend will only grow. That means if you don’t start using social media now – today – you’ll be left behind.

In my interactions with women in my networks I hear confusion, a little anxiety and apprehension where it concerns using social media.

It can be a very good resource when you lay a good foundation and understand some of the guidelines.

Listed below are 4 tips for effectively using social media to drive traffic to your sites…

1. Complete your profile.

When you first open your Twitter, Facebook, Squidoo or other social media site account, fill out your profile (including a picture). Doing so makes it easier for people to get to know you and build relationships with you, which will make it more likely they’ll click through to your site. Did you know that some of your potential followers will not follow simply because you didn’t provide a picture?
If you’re serious about your business (and I know you are) take the time to include a picture.

2. Interact.

It is no coincidence that the name Social media includes the word social. They’re two way streets (not monologues). That’s why you shouldn’t just post content and move on. Instead, spend a few minutes each day interacting and getting to know people in your network. Simply respond to tweets, updates etc. The key again is to be social. Now you do this within reason and you don’t spend all day on social media networks. That’s another topic.

3. Include a link to your site on your profile page.

Your profile page is considered real estate and you must use all of your internet real estate to the full potential. This tip is simple but effective: Give people a reason to click through from the social media site to your blog or squeeze page. Your potential customer/client must get to know, like and trust you and this is a
Good way to get started.

4. Ask your followers/friends to retweet

On twitter your updates are called tweets and other sites my be updates or posts. If you create a “buzzworthy” post (such as a post on a hot or even controversial niche topic), ask your Twitter followers to “retweet” it. You can simply include “Plz RT” at the end of your tweets since there is a 140 character limit.

Now is the time to get involved if you’d like to grow your business. Social media is only expected to grow in the future. –You can start today by applying the four traffic-generating, relationship-building tips you just discovered!
