Women's Empowerment tips: You can do it! How to maintain your endeavors towards Empowerment and Self Improvement

Do you find it difficult to be consistent in your endeavors towards Empowerment and Self Improvement?

Once you have decided on empowering activities, you will face moments along your journey where it seems that you are not making progress toward your goal. It is natural.

Maintaining your endeavors when the results do not seem to be coming can be challenging. But then, you must not give up when you are pursuing a dream.

Stay on your course. Do not jump overboard. If you believe in your dream and is willing to see it through, you will surely enjoy the sweet reward of success when you arrive at your destination.

Below are four tips for maintaining your endeavors towards Empowerment and self improvement

1. Keep a positive and success mindset

Your mental attitude toward your situation is very important. It's easy to be negative and to think negative.
This will not move you forward and drains the energy from you. If you think possibilities, you will be better able to focus on the opportunities that are present in setbacks or delays.

Keep a positive attitude. You know that you have what it takes to succeed.

Think positive thoughts. Remove negative self talk and tell yourself to think thoughts that will lift your spirit and renew that desire to succeed.
I know you've heard this "Your attitude determines your altitude." Also as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. This is from the Bible.

2. Pull versus Push.

It is not possible to push a rope. Neither can you make any progress by pushing and forcing it to move to your liking.

Experts will tell you that you need to make yourself "attractive" so that you can effortlessly draw to yourself what you want in life. This will also move you away from seducing or pushing in order to produce the outcome that you desire.

What have you been attracting to your life? Are you the one doing the pushing or the pulling?

3. Be persistent.

Continue on taking action daily toward your dreams and goals. Patience and persistence are the crowning qualities of self-confident champions.

Think of the gardener who plants a seed and then waits for it to sprout and grow. He waters and nourishes the seed even when he does not see immediate results, having faith that the seed will develop into a beautiful plant.

Like the gardener, do not think of what you see and what is going on today. Look ahead in the future and what your actions now will result to.

What can you do today to achieve your future plans?

4. Have an accountability and success partner.

Many times this is all you are missing and that is an accountability partner. Someone to hold you accountable to the goals and action steps you've set out to accomplish.
You've tried it alone for a while now and where has it gotten you? It's okay to say "I need your help." This doesn't mean failure, you are wise to utilize the resources
available to you that will allow you to leverage your time and money.

Having a success partner to encourage and support you especially when you are down or frustrated can make the difference in achieving a goal.
Sometimes our vision is blurred by distraction or discouragement. Having a supportive partner who wants big things for you and believes in you can help you stay the self improvement course.

You can do it on your own, but you do not have to do it alone. You have a choice. Why reinvent the wheel?
Why not have a success partner who will stick with you not only through the good times but also through the bad times?

You can find both of these in a mentor and/or coach and I cannot leave out Father God. He's been a great partner. I couldn't do any of this without Him!

Your Empowerment and Self Improvement endeavors will not always be easy. But with enough willpower, the perseverance to go on and an accountability

You have goals and hopefully have clarity of vision and purpose.
Why isn't it working?
Why does it seem like the harder I work the more fatigued and
unproductive I feel.

As in our human body there are certain things that are considered
necessary ingredients and essential keys to a healthy business.
Quite frankly if you're not providing these things your business
is experiencing malnutrition.

We all have seen the sad pictures of children and how they look
when they are suffering severe malnutrition. They cannot function
properly, I can imagine that they are not very focused or have
much energy.

You are not doing your business any justice if you are the CEO and
you are, once you make the decision to start your business you must
change your mindset from that of an employee to the CEO the leader
of your business. The CEO has the authority to make decisions.

Here are some other qualities of a CEO mindset


Takes risks. A CEO mindset is that of taking risks.
Courage and Faith – The Woman CEO mindset is that of courage and Faith. She has
Made the necessary adjustments to operate with courage and faith.
Knows what her ideal client’s needs are and goes about to develop solutions for
Their problems and pain.
Knows her ideal client, where they hang out , what they like
Authentic – Operates from a place of authenticity and works to make sure
That her services, programs and products are not filled with hype.
Has tapped into her uniqueness and brilliance and is confident in who she is.

These are just a few and another she Is passionate about what she does.

Woman entrepreneur tips: They won't know unless you show: Tips for increasing your online visibility

You have a great blog, product, service but there's one problem…
know one knows it or very few do if any.

As a savvy woman entrepreneur it's important that you have a visibility
plan. Why? Because they won't know unless you show. What?
They simply won't know anything about your great product, service
or program and unless you show it to them and one of the best ways is to increase
your online visibility.

I'm going to share three ways you can do this.

1) Post to blogs and forums
This is one of the easiest ways to increase your visibility. The key here
is to frequent forums and blogs that reach your audience. Don't
simply post great information, however, this is your time to shine.
Add to the content given by posting a comment that shows your
expertise. Don't overdue just a simple response. Some allow
you to leave your signature and others have it built in where it
will post your last blog post title and/or hyperlink your website.
Of course having your own blog will increase your visibility and
again you want the right visibility. Identifying and using your
best key words in your blog title and posts are key here.

2) Get Social. Social media is a great resource when you know
how to use it. It's not a coincidence that the word social is included
in Social Media. This is where many miss it. Instead of interacting
with their followers (twitter) or friends (facebook) they simply post
link and link and this is not good. This is gaining you the wrong
type of visibility.

3) Design your own newsletter/ezine
This is one of the easiest ways to not only gain visuality but is also
a great way to build your list/community. It's not as hard
as you may think it is. If you want additional information

Empowered Entrepreneurial women are students of life

What separates an Entrepreneurial leader from a follower?

There are many characteristics, however, entrepreneurial leaders do not have a mindset that adapts to failure. Things go wrong, of course, but entrepreneurs don’t call them “failures” they call them “glitches, mistakes, bungles, setbacks” – but not failing.

I've often heard it stated that you only fail when you quit or you only fail when you fall and neglect to get up.

An empowered entrepreneurial woman will approach decision-making with the idea that there’s a strong likelihood that she will be wrong. This doesn’t dissuade them – on the contrary they just do the best they can and worry about handling obstacles as they arise.

Another way of looking at it is to realize that you will make mistakes, so make them as quickly as you can in order to learn from them. A good leader doesn’t view making mistakes as negative or irrevocable, he/she feels free to press on and try something new. There is the belief that something useful has been learned, and hopefully not at a high cost.

Since we're going to make mistakes in this life why not make use of them as learning tools and don’t make the same ones twice.

Entrepreneurs also know the value of “intuition”. While you shouldn’t act on the results of tossing a coin, there is something to be said about your “gut” feeling about the situation. Very often business people become so involved with systems and checks-and-balances that they forget about that “gut” instinct they had when they started.

While not strictly logical, intuition does draw on a combination of experience, knowledge, and analysis as well as a lot of “gut” information you may have forgotten that you have.

How do you become a strong leader? One way you become a strong leader in your business is by “practicing” being a leader. It’s not a course you can take at a business college; it’s learned in the school of life as you’re doing business.

As a leader, you have to set standards and higher standards for your own behavior. You must do this because appearances are sometimes more important that facts.

You must also set a commanding presence.
Do you maintain the appearance of leadership? Do you project a confident appearance of a successful entrepreneur?

Presenting yourself as a confident entrepreneur, filled with the excitement of your business idea, and a strong leader of your team (whether it’s 1 or 10 employees) is what will make you a winner and add untold weight to your Business Plan. After all, you are your business to that ideal client/customer so you’d better look good and confident.

To protect that faith that your people and your customers have in your organization, always ask yourself these two questions:

Could this be interpreted by anyone in a way that would shake their faith in my leadership?
Could this be misinterpreted and held against me or the company?

One quality that every empowered entrepreneurial woman must possess is the ability to bounce back. Strong leaders know that leadership is a lifelong learning experience,and
that they are students of life and when they make a mistake they simply continue to move forward.

Don't waste your time waddling in the mud. When you don't achieve the desired result, get up and try again quickly.

Savvy woman and Woman Entrepreneur Empowerment tips: Are you waiting your life away?

Planning and waiting. Waiting and planning. None of it amounts to anything
unless you implement. Take targeted action now! ~ Robin Tramble

How long have you waited on your dreams? There was a time when
we had to wait until our children got older or the time was right.
This is only the case if you choose for it to be. There are so many
resources including support networks and such that endeavor to empower
moms, women in transition from corporate to entrepreneurship and those
who took the step from square one to become an entrepreneur. All you
have to do is want to be a savvy woman and/or woman entrepreneur. The
road has been paved and you just simply have to take inventory of
the resources available to you and chart your course.

Now, I am not saying that it is not necessary for us to envision, equip ourselves,strategize or even evaluate our season as a dividing line to
when the best time to launch our business would be, however, many women
continue to plan and wait, wait and plan.

It could be a fear of stepping out or fear of the unknown. The best response here
is to connect to a mentor or coach that will support you and hold you
accountable to your desired outcomes.

Procrastination also plays a big part in our waiting. Many times procrastination
can be a result of a negative experience and when revisited or given an
opportunity to look this negative experience in the face again you may
retreat.

A lack of confidence is another area that may fuel the wait. If you're unsure
of yourself, your abilities or have had bad experiences where it concerns
feeling as if you've failed or fell short of the desired result, do
something to change it. Knowing your area of focus, educating yourself
on the area you want to specialize in will assist in building your
confidence and in turn encourage you to step out and up to accomplish
your mission. "If you think you can or can't, you're right." Henry Ford

Time moves on and if you continue to wait before long you'll look back
and your children are grown living their own lives while you're left with
the sad realization that you simply "waited your life away!"

Woman entrepreneur tips: 5 dangers of playing small

How many opportunities have you missed out on or dreams have been
sabotaged because of your playing small? I'm going to share 5 dangers
of a woman entrepreneur playing small.

1. Playing small sends a message to young women that we don't deserve more.
I can't tell you how many times my girls (now young women) have shared,
how my pursuit of my best empowered life and strong faith has enabled them
to reach for more and refuse to whine and make excuses for why they can't
do what they need to.

This includes my oldest who was diagnosed with MS and later told
it was NMO (a good thing in some ways). She lost her vision at one
point and continued to reach and yes she did recover and we all
received great empowerment through the journey. She remained independent
even while attending school. My youngest who started in middle school
pursuing her dream of attending a black university, received the Gates
millennium scholarship, stayed off the dorm, graduated and went to France
for the Cannes Film program. They had their challenges and yet they
were influenced by my life and their Father's, my husband and their
strong faith.

2. You stop the supernatural divine intervention of God from flowing in
your life. Our God is a BIG God and when we play small we are not
allowing Him to be who He is and will be to us.

3. You feed the mindset of mediocrity. There is so much more available and
when you play small you're settling. It's important that you are motivated
to reach for more, reach for excellence.

4. You remain in the zone of what could of been. This is not good.
Instead of your energies going toward fueling your dreams by being
clear on your vision, purpose and goals and then learning how to
advance towards achievement you're constantly looking back and reflecting
on what could have been. Don't look back at the end when it's too late
wondering what could have been. The time is now. It's all you have.

5. And last but definitely not least is that you're held in bondage to and
fuel low self esteem and a lack of confidence. You cannot possibly feel
too good about yourself when you play small. You're subjected to
comparing yourself with others and may even become very critical of
others because you are not happy with yourself and therefore also
don't have very healthy relationships.

If you feel that you've been playing small it's not too late to
change it. I invite you to begin today. Open the door to your big, bold
and beautiful life.

Don't let anyone make you feel guilty for wanting more. This is your
life and there are many that need to hear your message and benefit from
your gift(s). As I always say "God's gift to us is life and what
we do with it is our gift back to him!"

Make a quantum leap. There's no time to move slow. Of course you
use wisdom and chart your course, however, it's time to have a
mindset shift to "Quantum leaps." Think Big, Dream Big, Play
a bigger game and live Big!

Women's Empowerment: Losing focus can immobilize you and hinder your empowering success in life

How can I stay focused while in the midst of so many distracting
situations in my life? Was one of the questions submitted in
my survey. This is all too true for many people, especially women
who are at times considered superwoman. As women we wear so many
hats. Sometimes it's because we allow ourselves to carry so much
and refuse to delegate due to the fact that we can do it better.
This is not the best solution for realized women's empowerment.

Losing focus can immobilize you and hinder your empowering success
in life. This is why it's important to learn life skills that will
allow you to get focused and stay focused. You may be saying that's good,
however, what about when crisis comes or I'm bombarded by so many
situations that I become overwhelmed and distracted what do I do
then? I'll share a few keys below that are also included in my special report
"How to stay focused in crisis."

Don’t panic!
This is number one here as this may be the natural response by most and that is to Panic. When I heard the call from my daughter saying “mommy I can’t see” my first inclination was to panic and then I gave the call to my husband so that I could regroup and reach into my Faith. Panic will send you spiraling down a staircase of many emotions sending you deeper and deeper into a mode of gloom and defeat. Below I share other things you must do to stay focused that you also must do that will fuel your ability to resist the panic stage. Unless you make an agreement with yourself that you will not panic the other keys may not be as effective in your endeavor to learn skills to help you stay focused in crisis.


Passion or burning desire
Having passion and a burning desire will drive you through that crisis. Many times we have to reignite our passion, reignite our burning desire. Do the steps needed to do that. And as you’re going through my Inner Circle or other programs or you’re a private coaching client stick to the activities and make sure you take action. Passion and burning desire is what you must have and this will help drive you through that crisis.

Last but not least, cast your cares on Father God because He cares
for you. Stay connected with the source. The source of your power
, the source of love and a sound mind.

You must do what it takes to accomplish your goals. You are empowered
through your union with Father God. Take at least one thing that you’ve
learned and apply it and then continue. Don’t be overwhelmed, don’t
stress yourself out as this will further discourage you and distract you.
The power is within you. You can begin your endeavor to stay focused in crisis
or any other time of your life as you apply what I have shared with you.

Women's Empowerment: Why Goal setting is a must do activity for your best empowered year yet!

What happened to your year?

Do you know? Where did you spend your time and was it spent wisely?
Did you realize the results that you wanted for women's empowerment?
If you don’t know the answer to at least one of these questions it
could be a result of not setting effective goals and incorporating
systems to measure your effectiveness and provide a map of where
you want to go.

This is a must do activity for your best empowered year yet.

You’ve probably heard about goals since at least Middle School
(Jr. High for some of us) and paid little or no attention to this
very important activity.

Is there really any benefit to setting goals?

Setting goals is a very significant part of success and positive
accomplishments. People who set goals literally create a map of
their target achievements in life,marking where they should begin,
where to pause, where to delve a bit, and where and when to stop.
Once this map is created, it allows the map drawer to check where
he is in the scheme of things and whether or not he is making some
achievements that will take him closer to his goals.

What are some key benefits to setting goals?

Knowing how you are doing and what you should be doing to achieve
your targets or dreams in life is a key benefit of setting goals.
You will know if you can relax or if you have to double your efforts
when you are falling short of the realization of your desired goal.

You are able to keep track of your progress which provides for
excellent feed back.

As a result of setting goals you will find that you’re more motivated
to achieve your plans.

Setting effective goals and achieving them will also help to boost
your confidence.

I've listed just a few of the vast amount of benefits of setting goals.

However, goal setting is not enough, as this should be accompanied by
a positive outlook and self-discipline. A person may have a blueprint
of where he wants to go, but if he does not have the necessary discipline
to carry out the plan, then nothing will come out of it.

To be successful in goal setting, the goals that one has set for himself
should be realistic and based on his capabilities, as well as selected
and important external factors. Being too ambitious in setting up goals
can make the goals unrealistic and difficult to achieve.

However, do not also set goals that are too low because this might
discourage one’s vision instead of achieving it.

If you haven't taken the time to set some goals whether personal,
spiritual or business goals there's no time to wait. Goal setting
is a must do activity for your best empowered year yet.
