Women's Empowerment: Does God want you rich? Science of getting rich [excerpt]
I am reading The Science of getting rich after being advised to
re-read by one of my mentors and all I can say is wonderful!
Although there may be a few lines that I don't fully endorse I do however,
find that there is much to be said about some of the content.
And so I share this excerpt with you. It is my passion to empower
women to discover their authentic self, get unstuck and learn to live
a big, bold, beautiful and deliciously authentic life! Where many of
the challenges begin are in the mind. I want you to read the following
excerpt and embrace it and know the truth about God, you and riches.
And let them say continually, "The LORD be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant."Psalms 35:27 b
Excerpt from The Science of Getting Rich
God, the One Substance, is trying to live and do and enjoy things through humanity. He is saying "I want hands to build wonderful structures, to play divine harmonies, to paint glorious pictures; I want feet to run my errands, eyes to see my beauties, tongues to tell mighty truths and to sing marvelous songs," and so on.
All that there is of possibility is seeking expression through men. God wants those who can play music to have pianos and every other instrument, and to have the means to cultivate their talents to the fullest extent; He wants those who can appreciate beauty to be able to surround themselves with beautiful things; He wants those who can discern truth to have every opportunity to travel and observe; He wants those who can appreciate dress to be beautifully clothed, and those who can appreciate good food to be luxuriously fed.
He wants all these things because it is Himself that enjoys and appreciates them; it is God who wants to play, and sing, and enjoy beauty, and proclaim truth and wear fine clothes, and eat good foods. "it is God that worketh in you to will and to do," said Paul.
The desire you feel for riches is the infinite, seeking to express Himself in you as He sought to find expression in the little boy at the piano.
So you need not hesitate to ask largely. Your part is to focalize and express the desire to God.
This is a difficult point with most people; they retain something of the old idea that poverty and self-sacrifice are pleasing to God. They look upon poverty as a part of the plan, a necessity of nature. They have the idea that God has finished His work, and made all that He can make, and that the majority of men must stay poor because there is not enough to go around. They hold to so much of this erroneous thought that they feel ashamed to ask for wealth; they try not to want more than a very modest competence, just enough to make them fairly comfortable.

Women's Empowerment tips: Do you really know what you want in life?
Many people are disappointed with where they are in
life or are confused about how to get where they want to go.
There are many who have not even discovered this until it’s
too late.
How much time have you spent watching television or even doing
things that don’t really matter.
The first thing you must do is determine what you really want in life.
You may need to go back to when you were a child as some of our
Dreams were influenced by family, our environment, society our
church and others. You cannot even begin to set goals if you’re
not sure of this.
Now, don’t let it get you down if you’re not sure of what you really
want out of life. There are many ways of discovering your purpose
in life.
One place to begin is as I stated deep within as early as your childhood.
Do not let the influence of what others think you should be or do take
control of your thoughts. Now is the time to listen to your heart. Now
is the time to be authentic to be true to yourself.
What is it you truly love to do? This will represent your passion. What
is it that you would do with passion even if you weren’t paid to do it?
You will jump up each morning with excitement as you pursue your purpose
and passion.
Even when challenges come you will push forward as your passion fuels
your motivation. Of course you will have times that you experience
opposition, however, your passion, your heart’s desire will find ways
to overcome these obstacles.
Now take a few moments to jot down what you really want. Don’t try to
qualify it or second guess now is the time to let your heart speak.
There are other steps to take, however, without being clear on this you
will build an unstable foundation.

Woman Entrepreneur tips: Is the money really in the list?
We've often heard that the money is in the list. Although I believe in
this statement it is also important to note that the money is in a
responsive targeted list.
You can go on a daily pursuit of building a large list without any
focus on your niche or in other words who do you serve? And you'll
have a huge list of non responsive subscribers.
Carrie Wilkerson talks about community and how important it is to build
community and relationship.
I learned quite a few tidbits from her course magnetic list building.
Here are a few things she notes:
Definition: What is an "Opt-in list" or
"Permission-Based Marketing?"
This simply means that you are drawing prospects and customers closer to you by exchanging something of value for their name and e-mail, HENCE, permission to communicate with them about related products or services! Imagine yourself a large magnet, drawing a hungry crowd to you and they are raising their hand to say, "Yes! I am interested!"
She then shares the following: In a nutshell, here are 5 of the most basic low & no-cost tactics I used initially...
* Squeeze page with a free report or "ethical bribe"
* Weekly tips and/or newsletter
* Viral mini movie (there are ways to do this and things to avoid!)
* Tele-event series (this was also a great revenue generator
* Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, & more)
In this course I received content rich emails weekly with lessons
on things such as finding your market to using video to build your list.
I highly recommend the Magnetic List Building course.

Women's Empowerment tips: How can I refrain from giving up?
If you want to get somewhere you have to know where you want to go and how
to get there. Then never, never, never give up. Norman Vincent Peal
The easiest thing to do is to give up. Whether it's giving up on your goals,
dreams, relationships etc. It doesn't take much to come to this
choice. And it is a choice. Each of us are given a choice we can
keep moving, stay persistent and consistent or choose to "Give up!"
Now, let's reflect on the quote above. I'm assuming that you do
want to get somewhere right?
One thing you must do is to know where you are going as mentioned
in the quote above. And all too many times that is one of the problems
you just don't even know where you want to go. You may complain about
what you don't have and how things have ended up and where you ended up.
Did you ever take the time to discover where it
is that you wanted to go? What is your vision,your dream, what are your
core values, who is your message to? All of these are important areas to
get clarity on.
How will you get there?
It's one thing to get clear on your goals, niche (who you serve),
and more and yet another to incorporate strategies and systems that
you'll use to get there. One thing you'll want to have is a mission
statement this not only helps others to see at a glance more of
what you're offering and to whom but helps you have a gage to measure
the effectiveness of your activities.
Back to setting goals. When setting goals it's not only good to do this
but to also make sure that you are setting effective goals and then add
action steps to your goals.
Why do individuals give up?
They may have become overwhelmed by too much information and lack the
needed support to actualize this information. Again, you don't have
goals in place aligned with daily action steps. There could be fear
in operation, fear of rejection, the unknown, failure, success etc.
A lack of Faith, courage and confidence.
There's no accountability measure in place. One accountability measure
you must have is a mentor,coach relationship. If you're not ready
for a formal mentoring/coaching relationship you need to consider being
part of a group that facilitates coaching and mentoring opportunities.
Most of these also provide tools, resources and assessments to reinforce
your experience.

Women's Empowerment tips: How you respond to crisis will determine your level of empowering success!
How do you respond to crisis?
Does it cause you to panic or are you consumed by fear feeling as if the world is closing in all around you?
There will be continuous testing times as you move along your journey
towards an empowered life. There's no question about it we will have testing
times as you move up to new levels there will be new testing. So, we must
build safeguards so we stay focused and we stay along the course that's
been set for us and given that fact we are talking about focus in crisis,
learn to focus.
Now one of the hardest things to do in life when an unexpected change or
circumstances, disappointment etc. come your way is to stay focused. We either
are experiencing so much pain or we're so overwhelmed that the event tries to
take our full attention. So how can you continue along your path towards the goals
that you've set, the action steps you've set that will lead
you to that goal long term, short term?
I've been there when my daughter lost her vision I was forced to reach in
and grab every life skill, empowerment tool and my Faith to remain strengthened
and focused in order to support my daughter, my family and myself. I could have thrown in the towel and lost faith and focus, however, I didn't and through this gained keys to sustained empowerment, success and focus even in crisis.
Yes, I've had crisis times and will have more the difference is that I'm now
empowered to stay focused in crisis and want to share some insights with you
in this empowering resource! Our daughter has regained her vision and is
living an empowered life.
How you respond to crisis will in essence determine the level of your
empowering success!
