I want it all... Should I feel guilty?

In my interactions with women this one question has always
been brought into the conversation. Some individuals want
to shake a finger at the woman asking this question, feeling
that it is selfish and #2 we can't possibly have it all.

Here are my thoughts.

This can be a hard question to answer if you fail to address the
following:

What is having it all? How do you define having it all?
This is a little like the assessment I use with clients\
"Defining success." If you don't define success for yourself,
others will tell you what it is or not.

What is your vision for life?
When you're not sure of your vision you can't possibly
navigate effectively.

So.... if there would be anything to feel guilty about
it would be not properly defining what having it all means
to you. Yes, I said you, not your best friend, spouse, parent
or anyone. And then my friend you chart your course without guilt.

Another key area is to make sure your life is set-up for success
with balance. I use an assessment to facilitate this, which is
what all of the participants of The Dream Launch Program benefited from.

I invite you to get connected with your best empowered life today!

Women reduce stress with 3 tips for time management

Have you ever been stressed even when you're well relaxed?

Stress is unavoidable in life, it is important to find ways
to reduce stress, prevent stressful incidents and decrease
negative reactions to stress.

One key area to focus on in managing and reducing stress is
time management. Time management skills can allow you more
time and allows for increased productivity and performance,
which in essence will reduce your stress.

Here are some tips for effective time management:

Keep a record of how you spend your time, including work,
family, and leisure time.

Save time by focusing and concentrating, delegating and scheduling
time for yourself.

Prioritize your time by rating tasks by importance and urgency.

These are just a few tips, however, when you start with these
I'm sure you'll be on the road to living stressed-less.

Stress, women and chronic disease

Did you know that stress can be attributed to 90% of all chronic diseases?

This thing is serious!

Many times as women we are in denial and feel that we have
a grip on stress and are managing well, however, without becoming
aware of stressors in your life you are basically yielding yourself to
tremendous damage to your health and well being.

I use assessments to help individuals discover their subsceptibility
to stress. A few of the questions that I ask would include the following.

Do you experience unidentified pain in your shoulders, neck or back?
Have you experienced loss in the last year (i.e. loss of a loved one, job etc.)?
Do you find it easy to take time for yourself at least once or twice per week?

This is your life and you have a choice to make to either take a p
roactive approach to your personal development, health and wellness
plan or become a victim and shorten the time you have here on earth to
benefit from the fruits of your labor.
